Choosing a masturbator: manual or powered?
Start with the controls
You control a manual masturbator’s movement yourself; for a powered model, check which functions it actually offers. Vibration, automatic movement and other labels are not interchangeable. Choose your preferred control method first, then compare models in that group. More features do not automatically mean a better fit.
Compare measurements, not just photographs
Distinguish the housing’s external measurements from any internal measurements supplied by the manufacturer. One length figure may not explain the complete fit. Check which model and variant the figures describe. If an important measurement is missing or a photograph conflicts with the description, ask before ordering.
Check material and reuse
Read the individual product’s material description and whether it is intended for single or repeated use. A brand name or soft appearance does not answer those questions. If a removable inner sleeve matters to you, confirm that the model has one rather than assuming the same construction throughout a series.
Allow for cleaning and drying
Before buying, check how the housing opens and which parts may be cleaned according to the manufacturer. Removing or turning a sleeve inside out is not suitable for every model. Drying and storage are part of everyday convenience. Verify electronic housing water resistance separately; appearance does not establish it.
Confirm lubricant compatibility
Check instructions from both the masturbator and lubricant manufacturers. A material-family name does not describe every coating or construction detail. Compare the complete purchase
